Your First Visit:
Will last one and a half to two hours, during which you will have the opportunity to speak at length about your health concerns. This appointment is designed to enable your practitioner to assess underlying conditions leading to your current situation. The initial visit includes a confidential discussion of your health and personal histories, a Traditional Chinese physical examination, and your first acupuncture treatment. The cost for an initial consultation and treatment is $150.
Subsequent Visits:
Generally last from forty-five minutes to one hour. The treatments usually are scheduled on a weekly basis for the first month or so in order to create an internal balance of energy which can be maintained between visits. As balance is achieved, treatments will be extended to every other week, every three weeks, monthly, and eventually every six weeks. However, please keep in mind that appointment intervals may be adjusted at the discretion of the practitioner. Established patients pay $75 per visit, and same household family members pay a family rate of $70 per visit.
*Children are welcome for treatments. Generally, children 12 years and under are billed at $75 for the initial appointment that lasts approximately one hour, and at $40 for subsequent appointments that last approximately thirty minutes. Children 13 years and over are typically scheduled and billed as adults. |
